Serving the Lake Washington-Sammamish watershed (WRIA 8) including tributaries such as Swamp Creek, North Creek, Bear Creek and communities from Everett south through Bellevue to Issaquah. The Lake Washington - Sammamish Watershed Bank (LWSW Bank) will serve the highly urbanized, fast growing areas of South Snohomish County and King County. Most of the remaining parcels within the Urban Growth Boundaries of Cities within the service area of the Bank have issues with wetlands. The LWSW Bank will give regulators and planners flexibility to better utilize these areas and provide high value mitigation for unavoidable impacts to wetlands from road, utility and commercial construction projects.
