Clark County Mitigation Bank Prospectus 2007

Columbia River Mitigation Bank

Located along the Columbia River in the City of Vancouver, WA on Port of Vancouver property, the Columbia River Mitigation Bank is progressing through the approval process and should have credits for sale in the 2nd half of 2008.  The site establishes and restores valuable wetlands in the Columbia River floodplain that have been heavily impacted by cities and development along the river.  The bank service area starts below the Bonneville Dam and goes downstream to Longview.

East Fork Lewis Mitigation Bank

Located on land formerly part of Farger Lake north of Battleground in Clark County, the East Fork Lewis Mitigation Bank (EFL Bank) is currently in the approval process and should have credits available by the 2nd half of 2008.  The EFL will re-establish approximately 100 acres of wetlands that will be available to offset impacts to critical areas of rapidly growing portions of Clark County and the cities of Battleground, Ridgefield and La Center.  The EFL Bank service area will include Gee, Allen and portions of Mill Creek, all important sub-basins to the East Fork Lewis River.
Battleground Mitigation Bank

Located on the former Remy Farm site owned by the City of Battleground, this bank will enhance and re-establish approximately 60 acres of wetlands in the important ecoregion known as the terrace service area.  This bank will provide credits to offset impacts in the rapidly developing central portion of Clark County.
